How do I register for a class?

You can register online, by mail, by phone, or in person at our office. Read all about registration here.

This class level is too hard/easy. Can I move to a different level?

Yes! We want you to find the best fit. Contact us and we’ll get you in the right class.

This class isn’t going to work out for me, and I’d like to drop it. What can I do?

If you are unsatisfied with your experience, or were unable to attend a course due to reasons beyond your control, please contact us. We will do our best to provide a solution that meets your individual needs – your satisfaction is our priority.

Can I get credit for Continuing Education classes?

No, our classes are not for credit.

I need to show my employer verification of my attendance. What document can I provide them?

We offer continuing education units (CEUs) to verify the hours you attended a class. Learn more about CEUs here.

If you are a teacher, you will want to register for our Clock Hours Fee.

How can I register another person for a class as a gift?

1.  Search for the class you want to give as a gift
2.  Add class to cart
3.  Click Check out
4.  Create a New Account for the person who will take the class, entering in their name and birthdate
5.  Enter your own address, phone number, and email if you want the gift to be a surprise. (we email order confirmations shortly after you register. Be sure to pass on the class information at some point!)
6.  Enter payment information and finalize purchase.

I have to miss a few class sessions. Can I pay for just the sessions that I will attend?

We are unable to prorate classes, so the full class fee is required for registration regardless of attendance.

Are there any special requirements to take Continuing Education classes?

We make it easy for just about everyone to take our classes.

  • No student visa required
  • Non-residents – register away!

Can I audit a class, or get a senior discount?

Continuing Education classes are not eligible for audit or discounts. However, you may be interested in the senior waiver, which allows seniors 60 years of age or older to enroll in state funded academic courses. Learn more here

Can I qualify for disability services when I take a Continuing Education class?

Yes. The Disability Services office at North Seattle College (NSC) provides reasonable accommodations so that qualified students with documented disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in all of North’s programs, activities, events, and services. Learn more here
