Tom DiStefano

Tom has been a partner in West Seattle Cellars, West Seattle’s retail shop for fine wines, since 2000 and has been managing partner since 2006. In picking wines for the shop, he has tasted over 5,000 wines from around the world in all price ranges. Tom’s contact with retail customers has provided him extensive experience in matching individual palettes with the over 1,400 different selections in the shop. West Seattle Cellars holds free weekly wine tastings, has six different monthly buyers clubs, and participates in regular wine dinners with West Seattle restaurants. In the past seven years, Tom has led or participated in 38 classes held at the shop. He is also on the advisory board for the Northwest Wine Academy, and has previously taught a class in Italian wine and food pairing for the Continuing Education program at South Seattle College.
