Gretchen Bear

Gretchen has been a landlord for 20 years and has also had several businesses managing properties and teaching landlording. In addition to teaching classes, she consults with new or prospective landlords one-on-one to both educate and advise them on their rental properties.  Gretchen has not had a tenant miss even one month of rent nor had to post a legal document of any kind throughout her own years of landlording.  Gretchen’s approach to being a landlord is rooted in the importance of a respectful tenant-landlord relationship. Being a small-time landlord can be very rewarding with the right tenants and the right attitude. As a veteran instructor at NSC, Gretchen loves teaching her Continuing Education students.
