Make your cocktails seamless and add new depth with bitters, a must-have for your home bar. You will learn how to create a basic bitters base, experimenting with different infusions of aromatic plant extracts for custom flavors. The class includes everything you'll need to craft two 4-oz. bottles of bitters, including the base spirit, a variety of bittering and flavoring agents, and reusable infusion jars and dispensing bottles that you'll get to take home. What better gift for your cocktail-making friends? A $15 materials fee is due to the instructor in class.
Spain has more vineyard acreage than any other country, and has a long, rich tradition of winemaking. In this course, we'll taste our way through Spanish wine history, regions, grapes, and classic styles. Students must be 21 or older; picture ID required. A $10 materials fee is due to instructor in class. Class meets off campus at The Barrel Thief in Fremont, 3417 Evanston Ave N, #102, Seattle. We suggest that you eat before coming to class.
