Continuing Education

Christina Mills

Christina has been working with QuickBooks since the program was first introduced in the 1990’s and is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.  She’s worked as a bookkeeper for more than twenty years and has operated a small consulting and bookkeeping business since 2006.  She specializes in helping small businesses, especially start-ups, set up and use QuickBooks in the most efficient way for their needs and enjoys training people to use QuickBooks and understand bookkeeping concepts.  She’s taught in the Everett Community College and Cascadia continuing education programs since 2014.

Christina’s goal in teaching QuickBooks and Bookkeeping is to show students that accounting doesn’t have to be scary or boring and to help business owners see how understanding their financial information can make everything else in their business run more smoothly.  She believes that the experience gained from working with dozens of varied clients over the years can help her direct students and business owners how to avoid some of the most common pitfalls for new businesses.

When she’s not teaching or working, Christina can be found studying as she works towards her Master’s Degree in Accounting. In her limited free time she enjoys reading, watching movies, or doing puzzles of some sort.  She lives with her husband (her childhood sweetheart since Jr High School), a cranky cat, and lots of books and loves to go to the beach as often as possible.
