Kelly Froh

Kelly Froh Arts Instructor North Seattle College

Kelly has been deeply involved in the Seattle comics scene since 2006. She is one of the original founders of the Short Run Comix & Arts Festival, now active for 9 years.

In 2014, Kelly left her job at a marketing office and began teaching in earnest for many art organizations as well as growing Short Run into a nonprofit that might actually pay her a salary. Kelly is dedicated to supporting the comics community and helping it to grow and become more inclusive to women, people of color, LGBTQ+ and disabled persons. Kelly is living proof that comics are a medium open to everyone, capable of breaching social and cultural barriers and ideal for opening hearts and minds.
