Robert Stahl


Robert Stahl photography instructor North Seattle College

Robert Stahl is an award-winning professional photographer who also teaches for the Pacific Northwest Art School. He has led photo trips to Nepal, Antarctica, Patagonia, Alaska, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kenya, Iceland, France's Provence, Peru, India, the Desert Southwest, and our own Pacific Northwest.

His work has appeared in both Eastman Kodak and National Geographic publications, and he is represented by Getty Images. He credits the work and philosophy of Ernst Haas, Freeman Patterson, and Sam Abell as major influences.

  • This class will interest DSLR digital photographers (along with mirrorless camera users) who've had a basic camera course. Topics include landscape design, using color and light, exposure control, fill-flash, close-up, and wildlife photography. Tripod required. Class includes two Sunday morning field trips on 10/06 and 10/13 (details given in class). Course includes 2 Sunday afternoon field trips on 10/6 and 10/13 (details to be provided).
