Go beyond "red or white?" and learn about the history of wine, the basics of wine chemistry, wine making, how to taste and evaluate wine, how to pair wine with food, and how to store it and decide when it's ready to drink. All while sampling wines from around the world to help you most fully appreciate the subject. Taught by Sommelier David LeClaire of Seattle Uncorked, and Christopher Gronbeck, owner of The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar in Fremont. Students must be 21 or older; picture ID required.
