Mindfulness Meditation for Busy Working People

Keep your meditation simple by incorporating small moments of stillness into your everyday life—an easy approach that soothes stress and keeps you grounded. Join a supportive environment where you will bring joy into each day by practicing mindful breathing, standing and walking while engaging all of your senses. We will practice self-care such as mindful eating and whole body movement along with loving kindness practices that allow you to step out of negative thoughts and bring compassion to yourself and others. Based on the Kabat-Zinn Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course, instructor Andrea D’Asaro offers a streamlined approach for people in high-stress jobs such as nurses, doctors, working parents and teachers or for anyone who needs freedom from anxiety and worry.
