Fitness Recovery

Are sore, tired or tight muscles preventing you from working out as often or as hard as you’d like? Learn from a sports massage therapist how to improve your comfort and recovery speed between workouts through various forms of self-massage, passive range of motion, stretching and recovery techniques. We’ll explore basic muscle anatomy and kinesiology to help answer questions such as “Why would you stretch your hip if your knee hurts?” and “Is stretching always the answer?” This class will help you understand what to do after a workout, and why. A $30 materials fee is due to the instructor on first day of class.
