Beginning Fiction: Crash Course

Improve the depth and flow of your storytelling in a class designed for new and developing creative writers. You will work step-by-step through a plan for a complete story including developing characters, mapping plot, writing dialogue, and creating exciting beginnings and resolutions. Bring pen and paper and be prepared to write; you will have lots of exercises and opportunities for feedback. Don’t spend another day NOT writing— join us and bring your stories to life. A $5 materials fee is due to instructor on first day of class. Students who take this class are invited to participate in our CE Student Writers Contest. I liked Leslie's enthusiasm and knowledge. She's very inspiring and encouraging. She obviously loves to write and that makes me want to do it, too. The course was very well organized and finished what it set out to do. The handouts were great. Well worth the five dollars.
