The Art of Creative Writing

Whether you are new at creative writing or have been at it for a while, this class will show you ways to improve the depth and flow of your storytelling. Explore unconventional writing exercises and visual techniques to enliven your work, whether in the description of a character, a setting, a situation, an object or an emotion. A $5 materials fee is due to the instructor on first day of class.

I looked forward to going to class every week. It was so much fun! We had a new writing genre to tackle each week and the process of sharing our written work and hearing others' writing was the perfect mix of entertaining and educational. In the end, I feel like I've learned how to approach new and more difficult writing tasks.
